How To Handle Your Parents
A
quick word of advice:
Here is RULE # 1 when
it comes to managing
your parents through
the planning and attendence
of the prom:
"KEEP
THEM INVOLVED!"
Parents
love to be involved,
and indeed should be
involved throughout
the whole process.
After
all, selecting your
prom dress can be a
dress rehearsal for
your actual wedding
dress - your Mom will
love helping you!
If
your parents are the
worrying kind, make
sure your parents know
all of the arrangements.
What
time you will be going,
what time you will be
leaving, how you are
getting home, who you
are going with etc
Make
sure that your cell
phone is on and it may
be a nice to touch to
call your parents during
the prom to let them
know how it is going.
Your
parents care about you
and also remember that
they have been to the
Prom in the past - so
they know what goes
on!
The
more you keep them involved
and informed the better
your night will be.
Attending
the Prom is a fantastic
life experience, one
of which your parents
SHOULD be a part of.
After
all, they might be paying
for your dress and spending
money!!!!! :-)
